This selection brings together 123 public-domain image files from Wikimedia Commons. It includes anatomical drawings, comparative animal studies and pages of notes. Alternate scans and different sides of a sheet are not separate artworks; this is not the complete anatomical corpus.

Leonardo studied the skull in 1489 and pursued muscles, skeleton and internal organs in later campaigns. His surviving drawings record observations alongside ideas that he revised. Royal Collection: Leonardo's study of anatomy.
